Ham, Egg + Chips (HC)
Ingredients
- 160g frozen chips
- 100g cooked ham (or any leftover festive meat or vegetarian alternative)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 egg
- Portion of veggies (your choice: mixed salad, frozen veg medley, frozen peas/sweetcorn, etc.)
- 1 tsp reduced-sugar ketchup or brown sauce
Instructions
Preheat your oven or air fryer according to the instructions for the frozen chips.
Place the frozen chips on a baking tray and cook as per the packet instructions, turning halfway through (or cook as per air fryer guidance).
While the chips are cooking, gently warm the ham in a pan or microwave until piping hot.
Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan over medium heat and crack in the egg. Fry for 2–3 minutes for a runny yolk, or longer if you prefer it cooked through.
Prepare the vegetables according to the packet instructions, or plate up a portion of mixed salad.
Once everything is cooked, plate up the ham, fried egg, chips and vegetables.
Serve with a teaspoon of reduced-sugar ketchup or brown sauce on the side.
