Warm Banana Split
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- ½ tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp honey
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp full-fat Greek yoghurt
- Handful of mixed berries, fresh or frozen, defrosted (approx.15; strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc.)
- 1 tbsp mixed nuts, chopped
- 1 tbsp mixed seeds (sunflower or pumpkin seeds)
Instructions
Slice the banana down the middle lengthwise.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add ½ tsp of honey and the cinnamon and stir to combine. Heat for a few seconds, then add the banana cut side down.
Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the banana is caramelised.
Place the banana on a plate.
Spoon Greek yoghurt over the banana.
Top with berries, nuts, seeds and the remaining honey.
