Stewed Apple, Greek Yoghurt + Kefir Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and roughly chopped
  • 15g raisins
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 85g full-fat Greek yoghurt
  • 40g kefir
  • 2 tbsp no added sugar muesli (or granola) *
  • 6 walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Add the apple, raisins, cinnamon, honey and water to a pot and let the apples simmer for 8-10 minutes (stirring occasionally), until the apples are soft and starting to break down. Once cooked, set aside and allow to cool slightly.

  2. Place the Greek yoghurt and kefir in a serving bowl.

  3. Top with the stewed apples and a sprinkle of muesli and chopped walnuts.

    * Note - The WLA Almond and Chocolate Granola or Carrot Cake Granola recipe would work well here (See Recipe Collection).
