Stewed Apple, Greek Yoghurt + Kefir Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and roughly chopped
- 15g raisins
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 tbsp water
- 85g full-fat Greek yoghurt
- 40g kefir
- 2 tbsp no added sugar muesli (or granola) *
- 6 walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Add the apple, raisins, cinnamon, honey and water to a pot and let the apples simmer for 8-10 minutes (stirring occasionally), until the apples are soft and starting to break down. Once cooked, set aside and allow to cool slightly.
Place the Greek yoghurt and kefir in a serving bowl.
Top with the stewed apples and a sprinkle of muesli and chopped walnuts.
