Spinach Cacao Smoothie
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
250ml semi-skimmed milk
4 tbsp frozen blueberries (any berries would work)
Handful of fresh spinach OR 2 blocks of frozen spinach
1 tsp flaxseed
1 tsp no-added-sugar cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
2 tbsp full-fat Greek yoghurt
Instructions
Prep Work β Peel banana slices into chunks and place them into the freezer the night before.
Add all ingredients into a blender and whizz until smooth.
Note - If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk and blend again. If itβs too thin, add more frozen blueberries or a few extra pieces of frozen banana to thicken.
