Spinach Cacao Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 250ml semi-skimmed milk

  • 4 tbsp frozen blueberries (any berries would work)

  • Handful of fresh spinach OR 2 blocks of frozen spinach

  • 1 tsp flaxseed

  • 1 tsp no-added-sugar cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)

  • 2 tbsp full-fat Greek yoghurt

Instructions

  1. Prep Work – Peel banana slices into chunks and place them into the freezer the night before.

  2. Add all ingredients into a blender and whizz until smooth.

Note - If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk and blend again. If it’s too thin, add more frozen blueberries or a few extra pieces of frozen banana to thicken.
