Purple Porridge
Ingredients
- 40g porridge oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 135ml milk (of your choice)
- 70g blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the oats, ground flaxseed, and milk.
Place over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats start to thicken (about 3–5 minutes).
Add the blueberries (reserve a few for topping) and continue to cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
Remove from the heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup.
Pour into a bowl, top with the remaining blueberries and enjoy.
