Festive Berry Yoghurt Bowl

Ingredients

  • 80g mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 125g full-fat Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp no added sugar muesli (or granola)*

Instructions

  1. Add the berries, cinnamon, water and maple syrup to a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a gentle simmer over a medium heat and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries are soft and starting to break down. Once cooked, set aside and allow to cool slightly before serving.

  3. Place the Greek yoghurt in a serving bowl.

  4. Top with the berry compote and a sprinkle of muesli.

* Note - The WLA Banana Bread Granola or Carrot Cake Granola recipe would work well here (See Recipe Collection).
