Ingredients
- Good quality cottage pie ready meal*
- Portion of vegetables (your choice: mixed salad, frozen veg medley, frozen peas/carrots, etc.)
Instructions
- Cook the cottage pie ready meal according to the packet instructions. 
- Prepare the vegetables according to the packet instructions, or plate up a portion of mixed salad. 
- Serve the cottage pie with the vegetables on your plate and enjoy! 
*Note – When choosing a shop-bought cottage pie ready meal, look for options that:
- Contain a good protein source (beef, lamb, or a vegetarian alternative like Quorn or lentils) 
- Have more green and amber traffic light labels, with fewer reds 
- Contain shorter ingredient lists with minimal preservatives and additives
