Chicken Kiev + Veggies (HC)
Ingredients
- 1 shop bought chicken Kiev *
- Portion of vegetables (your choice: frozen veg medley, frozen peas/carrots, etc.)
- 1 tsp mayonnaise, ketchup or 1 tbsp tzatziki
Instructions
Cook the chicken Kiev according to the packet instructions, usually in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan) / 200°C / Gas 6 for around 20–25 minutes, or until golden and piping hot throughout.
Cook the vegetables according to the packet instructions or steam until tender.
Serve the Kiev with the vegetables and your chosen condiment. Enjoy!
* Note - When picking a shop-bought Kiev, look for options that are:
Made with 100% chicken fillet
Have more green and amber traffic light labels, with fewer red
Moderate portion size (around 100–120g)
Shorter ingredient lists - fewer preservatives and additives are better
Suitable for oven or air fryer cooking rather than fried versions
