Banana Bread Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 250ml semi-skimmed milk (or preferred choice)
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 80g porridge oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp full-fat Greek yoghurt
  • 50g walnuts, crushed or chopped

To serve (per portion):

  • 1-2 walnuts, crushed or chopped
  • Portion of fruit of your choice (e.g. a handful of berries, ½ banana etc.)

Instructions

  1. Mash 1 banana in a medium bowl.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Divide the mixture between two jars or containers.

  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  5. To serve, top each portion with the toppings: walnuts and a portion of fruit of your choice.

Note - This recipe serves 2-3 portions. Use your own hunger and fullness cues to decide what feels right for you. Store in the fridge for 2–3 days.
