Banana Bread Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 250ml semi-skimmed milk (or preferred choice)
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 80g porridge oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp full-fat Greek yoghurt
- 50g walnuts, crushed or chopped
To serve (per portion):
- 1-2 walnuts, crushed or chopped
- Portion of fruit of your choice (e.g. a handful of berries, ½ banana etc.)
Instructions
Mash 1 banana in a medium bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Divide the mixture between two jars or containers.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
To serve, top each portion with the toppings: walnuts and a portion of fruit of your choice.
Note - This recipe serves 2-3 portions. Use your own hunger and fullness cues to decide what feels right for you. Store in the fridge for 2–3 days.
