Balanced Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1–2 eggs
  • 1 slice of wholemeal / sourdough bread
  • 1 tsp butter
  • ½ small avocado (or ¼ large), sliced
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 30g cheddar cheese, sliced
  • Portion of fruit of your choice

Instructions

  1. Boil eggs based on preference. For soft-boiled eggs, boil the eggs for 6–7 minutes or 8–9 minutes for hard-boiled.

  2. While the eggs cook, toast the bread.

  3. Thinly spread the butter on the toast, then top with the sliced avocado. Season with black pepper.

  4. Assemble the bowl by placing the avocado toast on one side, add the eggs once cooked, then the cheese and fruit.

  5. Serve immediately.
