Baked Figs & Yoghurt Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp butter
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1-2 fresh figs, halved
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 125g full-fat Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp no added sugar muesli (or granola)

Instructions

  1. Place a small frying pan over a medium heat and add the butter. Swirl to coat the base of the pan.

  2. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and let it infuse for a few seconds.

  3. Add the figs cut-side down and cook for about 1 minute until they begin to soften and release their juices.

  4. Drizzle over the honey. Gently turn the figs to coat. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until golden, sticky and lightly caramelised.

  5. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

  6. Spoon the Greek yoghurt into a shallow bowl, top with the figs and sprinkle over the granola.
