Bagel with Cream Cheese + Smoked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel (white, wholemeal or seeded)
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 slices smoked salmon (approx. 55g)
  • ¼ cucumber, cut into thin slices
  • Fresh dill or chives, finely chopped (optional)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedge, to serve (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the bagel in half and lightly toast both sides if desired.

  2. Spread cream cheese evenly over both halves of the bagel.

  3. Layer the smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese.

  4. Add the cucumber slices.

  5. Sprinkle over fresh dill or chives if using.

  6. Season with freshly ground black pepper.

  7. Serve with a lemon wedge on the side for squeezing over the top.
