Note: When picking a shop-bought vegetarian curry, look for options that are:

  • Made with good quality ingredients

  • Contain a protein source, tofu, chickpeas, beans, lentils etc

  • Have more green and amber traffic light labels, with fewer red

  • Shorter ingredient lists - fewer preservatives and additives are better
