Fish, Chips + Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 160g frozen chips

  • Portion of frozen white fish (cod, haddock, etc.), not breaded or battered

  • 3 tbsp frozen or tinned peas

  • 3 tbsp frozen or tinned sweetcorn

  • 1 tsp mayonnaise or ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven (or air fryer) according to the instructions for the frozen chips.

  2. Place the frozen chips on a baking tray and cook as per the packet instructions, turning halfway through (or cook as per the air fryer instructions).

  3. While the chips are cooking, cook the fish according to the packet instructions – this may be oven-baked (or air fried), grilled, or steamed, depending on your preference.

  4. Meanwhile, cook the peas and sweetcorn. If using frozen, boil or steam for 3–5 minutes until heated through. If using tinned, simply heat gently in a small saucepan or microwave until hot.

  5. Once everything is cooked, plate up the fish, chips, peas, and sweetcorn.

  6. Serve with mayonnaise or ketchup on the side.

    Note - If you only have battered or breaded fish, decrease the amount of frozen chips
