Apple and Cinnamon Porridge

Ingredients

  • 85g oats
  • 700ml milk
  • 2 apples
  • 2 tbsp coconut palm sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Place oats and milk in a pot over medium heat, and bring to boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 more minutes. If it becomes too thick, add more milk.

  2. In the meantime, peel and core the apples and cut into cubes. Place then in a pot, and stir in the sugar and simmer for about 10 minutes. Continue mixing until the apples start to caramelize. Before turning the heat off, season with cinnamon.

  3. Once the porridge is cooked, divide between bowls, top with apples and serve.
