Apple and Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 80g porridge / oats
  • 160ml milk
  • 170g full-fat Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 30g raisins
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and roughly chopped
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions:

  1. Place the oats, milk, yoghurt, 1 tsp honey and raisins in a container and stir well. Cover with a lid and place in the fridge overnight.

  2. The next morning, place a small non-stick frying pan over a medium to high heat. When hot, add the remaining honey (1 tsp), apple, cinnamon and water. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat.

  3. To serve, take the overnight oats out of the fridge, serve ½ of the oat mixture in a bowl and stir in a little water to loosen. Top with ½ of the apple mixture.
