Almond & Honey Porridge
Ingredients
- 40g porridge oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 15g almond butter (or any nut butter)
- 135ml milk (of your choice)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
- Portion of fruit of your choice (e.g., a handful of berries, 1 banana etc.)
- 15g flaked almonds
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the oats, ground flaxseed, almond butter, milk, vanilla extract and honey.
Place over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture begins to thicken, about 5-10 minutes or until the oats are cooked to your liking.
Pour into a bowl, top with your chosen fruit and flaked almonds, and enjoy!
